09/29/2021 - The West Virginia Infant/Toddler Mental Health Association is announcing their October webinar series beginnong October 18-22 from 12-1:30 p.m. daily.  The week will be focused on attachment from multiple perspectives.  Co-presenters for the week will be Dr. Amy Root and Amanda Newhouse, IMH-E®.  For this series, we have added a half hour after the presentation to allow time and space for participants to reflect and discuss information shared during the presentation. 

The attached flyer has detailed session descriptions, presenter information, and registration information. These webinars have been registered with WV STARS and have been submitted for approval for Nursing and Social Work CEUs.

09/01/2021 - Southridge Church and their Special Needs Ministry will be hosting a sensory and special needs family event on September 25, 2021

07/26/2021 and 4/13/2021  Think Kids WV-  has received a grant from the WV Developmental Disabilities Council to study the challenges families face when accessing health care services for their children with developmental disabilities in the Mountain State.

If you are a parent or caregiver, please consider taking the survey. The survey takes about 10 minutes and will provide information on the challenges that families have experienced and collect information on how the system can be improved.
