WISEWOMAN is a program designed to decrease a woman's risk of heart disease and other chronic diseases by providing FREE services that measures blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose. WISEWOMAN also provides nutrition, physical activity, tobacco cessation counseling and other resources to help participants make positive lifestyle changes.

Women who are between the ages of 40 to 64 and are enrolled in the West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program may qualify to become WISEWOMAN participants.

The WISEWOMAN Program provides FREE blood pressure, cholesterol and glucose screening. WISEWOMAN also provides nutrition, physical activity, tobacco cessation counseling and other resources to help participants make positive lifestyle changes. You must have lab work done in order to participate in the WISEWOMAN program.

Services provided by the WISEWOMAN Program are FREE to women who qualify.

Every year that you continue to qualify, you can receive FREE WISEWOMAN program services. WISEWOMAN program services will be offered as part of your West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program exam.
