PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The six-week WalkItUp! campaign kicked off this past Spring 2008. The campaign was highly visible with media messages, development of walking clubs, physical activity assessment, events, presentations and educational opportunities while identifying and addressing barriers to physical activity.
Hikes, walks, road and bike races, and birding opportunities are scheduled throughout the year at West Virginia State Parks and Forests.
