Roane County WIC Program

 

The Roane County WIC office is located at 200 Main Street, East in Spencer, in the same building as the Roane County office of the Mid Ohio Valley Health Department.

The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Our nutrition education classes and our clinics are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

WIC is more than just a supplemental food program.  We also provide nutrition education, health screenings, breastfeeding support and medical referrals, as well as vouchers for healthy, nutritious foods for pregnant women, infants and children up to the age of 5.  For more information about the WIC program in Roane County, and to see if you qualify, please call 304-927-4977.
