Sign Up for WIC at the Putnam County Offices and Take Home a Reading Book – “The Bernstain Bears and Too Much Junk Food !” To receive this reading book, print off this page and bring to WIC when you come in for your first appointment.    Not sure you qualify – visit our eligibility page for requirements.  Call today for an appointment.

§       Friendly staff – looking for ways to help you help your family!

§       New healthy recipes given in the nutrition classes -- also providing participants a variety of health information.

§       A child friendly environment with waiting room toys and play area.

§       Infant feeding classes give you the latest tips to successful breastfeeding.

§       Board Certified Lactation Consultants are available to help you with your infant feeding experience.  Lactation Consultants visit the local hospitals in Charleston and Huntington to help mothers get off to a good start with breastfeeding. 

§       Certified Lactation Counselor available at the clinic on Tuesday.

§       Electric pumps available for loan.

 

Classes each Wednesday:

              1:00 – Child Nutrition

               2:00 – Infant Nutrition

               3:00 – Breastfeeding Class
