Calhoun County WIC Program

The Calhoun County WIC Office is located in the lower level of the Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center on Hospital Drive in Grantsville, WV.  The WIC  office is located in the same area as the health department.  The Rainbow Day Care Center is also nearby.

The WIC office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday thru Friday, with a clinic held every Wednesday.

WIC is more than just a supplemental food program.  We also provide nutrition education, health screenings, breastfeeding support and medical referrals, as well as vouchers for healthy, nutritious foods for pregnant women, infants and children up to the age of 5.  For more information about the WIC program in Calhoun County, and to see if you qualify, please call 304-354-6898.
