Sign Up for WIC at the Kanawha County Offices and Take Home a Reading Book –  “The Bernstain Bears and Too Much Junk Food !  To receive this reading book, print off this page and bring to WIC when you come in for your first appointment. Not sure you qualify – call 746-7880 to find out or visit our eligibility page for requirements.  Call TODAY for an appointment !

§       Friendly staff – looking for ways to help you help your family!

§       New healthy recipes given in the nutrition classes –  a variety of health information and opportunity to have questions answered.

§       Infant feeding classes give you the latest tips to successful breastfeeding.

§       Board Certified Lactation Consultants are available to help you with your infant feeding experience.  Three Lactation Consultants visit the local hospitals to help mothers get off to a good start with breastfeeding. 

§       Trained Lactation / Breastfeeding Counselor available at the clinic.

§       Electric pumps available for loan.

                      

What’s a Smoothie?  

–      Look for WIC at local Health Fairs – we are the ones making Smoothies!

–      Smoothie samples to taste … Cool recipes provided!
