Breastfeeding WIC Participants'
Enhanced Food Package

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) recognizes that breastfeeding women have additional nutritional requirements. WV WIC participants who exclusively breastfeed their infants are eligible to receive the following monthly food package:

2 pounds carrots
4 cans (6 1/8-oz) tuna
1 pound of dry beans/dry peas
7 cans (46-oz) cans juice or 7 cans (12-oz) frozen concentrate juice
2 pounds cheese
36-oz cereal
2 dozen eggs
18-oz. peanut butter
24 quarts milk
