Mountains of Change; Seasons of Opportunities -The WVSDB Fall Conference, held annually in Romney, WV includes sessions for deaf/hard of hearing and blind/low vision in the areas of Early Intervention, K-12 Education, Assistive Technology, Multi-Sensory Needs, and more for early interventionists, teachers, related service personnel, and residential staff. Each session addresses practical strategies and aids which participants can use to enhance the instruction and care of children and students who are deaf/hard of hearing or blind/low vision.

This course includes basic to more advanced information on genetics, inheritance, genetic counseling and genes for hearing loss with lectures by the Gallaudet staff as well as Drs. Kathleen Arnos, Walter Nance and Arti Pandya from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Registration is now open. The registration deadline will be two weeks prior to the start of the class. This course includes basic to more advanced information on genetics, inheritance, genetic counseling and genes for hearing loss with lectures by the Gallaudet staff as well as Drs.
