the online course "Genetics and Hearing Loss for EDHI Professionals".
This course includes basic to more advanced information on genetics,
inheritance, genetic counseling and genes for hearing loss with lectures
by the Gallaudet staff as well as Drs. Kathleen Arnos, Walter Nance and
Arti Pandya from Virginia Commonwealth University.

SPA 693: AAC Assessment and Intervention in the
Schools - The department of Speech Pathology & Audiology at West
Virginia University in collaboration with the WV Department of Education
is offering an online class for speech-language pathologists. Topics
covered will include: AAC and the deaf/blind population, AAC for the
beginning communicator, dedicated devices verses mobile technologies (iPad)
and what’s new in AAC.

Registration is now open. The registration deadline will be two weeks prior to the start of the class.
