GETTING STARTED!

N ow that you have learned about the WV Birth to Three Mission and Key
Principles and the way the system is structured, let’s get started!

There are a few things you will need to begin your journey with WVBTT.
?? Become familiar with your service area. You may provide services in
more than one region. The Regional Administrative Unit Map outlines
regional service areas and provides information on the Regional
Administrative Unit (RAU).
?? You will need to set up your Practitioner Service Directory.
?? Establish a secure e-mail address to be used for WV Birth to Three.
?? Establish a secure place to set-up your clinical files—confidentiality is of
utmost importance!
?? Enroll in WV State Training and Registry System (WV STARS) to access
free WV Birth to Three Training.
?? Request a mentor to help you in providing services that support the
WVBTT Mission and Key Principles.
