HOW TO GET YOUR
STUFF IN THE PAPER
An instructional program that describes how to write up local youth activities or programs
in such a way that it is most likely to be published by the local paper. Public awareness
of adolescent health problems, a long with what is being done about them is extremely
important when gathering support for youth programs.TEEN ISSUES FORUM
A program to organize an entire school to teach only preventive health education on a
special day. The student body picks the topics to be presented. Professional people within
the local community are asked to make presentations on the selected topics. Each student
then picks the presentations they want to hear. Many important health topics that are not
in the school curriculum, can be addressed with this program. This program has been
successful with both the school systems and the students, and helps with the school/ town
relationship.
HOW TO WRITE A MODULE, MODULE
