COUNTY LEVEL DATA
County Health Profiles - 2004 This on-line publication provides an overview of the health and socioeconomic status of West Virginia residents on the state and county levels. Selected health indicators include causes of death, premature deaths, behavioral prevalence, births by age group, births to unwed mothers, tobacco use during pregnancy, infant deaths, and population.
An Adobe PDF version of West Virginia Vital Statistics - 2011 includes a listing of all tables that have county level data. County level data are included in population, birth, death, marriage, and divorce tables.
The West Virginia Health Status Atlas also contains many maps that display county level data.
Bureau for Employment Programs (BEP) County Profiles - The BEP county profiles have a broad range of information for each county including the number of hospitals, doctors, schools, and recreation facilities. Also included are employment, transportation, population (1990), and climate information.
