Practitioners/payees that want to communicate electronically with the CFO must complete the Certification

Statement for Practitioners Submitting Claims and the Trading Partner Agreement. The TPA document
outlines the practitioners’ choices on how they will communicate information with the CFO. Standardized file
formats must be followed when sending or receiving communications electronically.

 Submitting Claims for Authorized Services

Practitioners and Service Coordinators submit claims for provided services to the CFO. The CFO matches
these claims against authorizations to assure available units, etc. The CFO then prepares a weekly file that
is uploaded where BPH accesses and pays the approved claims. These files are uploaded each Thursday,
so you will want to keep your Explanation of Payment (EOP) to match against your future payments. BPH
typically reimburses payment 2-3 weeks after claims are uploaded.

                                                        ****IMPORTANT NOTE****
Practitioners must be enrolled prior to being authorized to deliver services.
