Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning
(CSEFEL) is focused on promoting the social emotional development and school
readiness of young children birth to age five. CSEFEL is a national resource center
funded by the Office of Head Start and Child Care Bureau for disseminating
research and evidence-based practices to early childhood programs across the
country. |
Circle of Parents provides a friendly, supportive
environment led by parents and other caregivers. It's a place where anyone in a
parenting role can openly discuss the successes and challenges of raising
children and can find and share support. |

The TEAM for West Virginia Children is a charitable organization founded
in 1986 To Eliminate Abuse and Maltreatment (TEAM). At the time of incorporation
there was no coordinated plan in the state to prevent child abuse. TEAM has
emerged as a statewide leader in prevention by offering programming, training
and advocacy on behalf of our state’s children. |

WV Breast Feeding Alliance work to improve the health of West Virginians by working collaboratively to
protect, promote and educate our community about breastfeeding.

Efforts have been ongoing in West Virginia to improve Infant Mental Health since
1995 when the continuum of care pyramid was developed and the Infant Mental
Health Development Tasks work plan was presented around the state.

The ACES Coalition of West Virginia includes over 70 different organizations and
individuals working together to improve the health and well-being of all West
Virginians by reducing the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and
preventing their occurrence. |
