Background

The West Virginia Home Visitation Program (WVHVP), within the Office of Maternal, Child and Family Health, involves partnerships at federal, state and community levels to help families in need. The program is available for pregnant women and all children (birth to five). The WVHVP connect families with services and resources that provide education and support. The WVHVP delivers positive support, education, referrals and information on resources right to your doorstep.

WVHVP can provide information to families that may assist with:

Prenatal, maternal and newborn health, including pregnancy outcomes

Child health and development, including preventing injuries, child abuse or maltreatment and reducing ER visits

arrow
 
Coordinating with and referrals to other community resources

Services are provided through the following programs:
