West Virginia's second oral rabies vaccine baiting for raccoons was conducted in September 2002. The purpose of this baiting was to vaccinate raccoons against rabies. The following materials were provided to the 34 counties in the bait drop area for distribution to the public and various agencies within these counties. (All documents require Adobe Acrobat 3.0 or greater to view):

In preparation for West Virginia's third oral rabies vaccine bait drop, 29 counties in the state will be conducting active raccoon rabies surveillance from October 2002 through September 2003. The following materials were provided to these 29 counties to aid in their active surveillance efforts
