Cancer in West Virginia - Incidence and Mortality 1993 - 2001 - This publication of the West Virginia Cancer Registry provides West Virginia cancer site specific information. It is in PDF format and requires the user to have an Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on their computer to view the report. A copy of the reader can be downloaded from the site and information is provided on obtaining a hard copy version of the report.

SEER - Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results Program is the cancer data collection component of the National Cancer Institute. SEER provides trends in cancer incidence, mortality, and patient survival in the United States.

NAACCR - The North American Association of Central Cancer Registries sets standards for completeness, quality, analysis, and management of cancer data for central cancer registries. NAACCR also publishes annually a two-volume monograph on "Cancer in North America," that includes incidence and mortality rates for individual states and provinces, United States and Canada.

ACS - The American Cancer Society, Inc., participates in programs for research, community cancer control, and advocacy and public policy development. It is a source of clinical information as well as epidemiologic trends.
