This scenic spot is located 21 miles downstream from Cheat Bridge on U.S. Route 250 and 4 miles above Bemis. Until 2001, it was only accessable by foot travel. Now it accessable by the Cheat Mountain Salamander excursion rail car that operates out of Cheat Bridge and Bowden.
