1. The WV Bureau for Public Health, in conjunction with the WV Department of Education, Higher Education, WVAHPERD (West Virginia Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance), and other professionals are developing a technical assistance packet and team to ensure the highest possible success for your grant applications. The Technical Assistance Packet will be available in final form approximately one week after the proposal is released.

2. The packet will provide tips for success and potential resources. Team members have agreed to preview your application to make sure that key components are included, and that grant specifications are followed.

3. Once you send your application in, send a copy with a cover letter to Senator Byrd. The cover letter should provide a brief description of your grant, and request the Senator's support. His office will keep the copy of your grant for tracking purposes.
