Fireworks Safety Tips
If you must use fireworks in celebrating the 4th. of July or other occasion,
please abide by the following safety rules.
- Read and follow label directions
- Have an adult present and never give fireworks to small children
- Ignite fireworks outdoors and on a flat surface
- Have water handy in case of a malfunction or fire
- Light only one firework at a time
- Never try to relight fireworks that have not fully functioned (duds)
- Never throw or point fireworks at other people
- Never carry fireworks in your pocket
- Never shoot-off fireworks in metal or glass containers
