Prevalence of Risk
Factors Among
West Virginia
WISEWOMAN Participants
The West Virginia
WISEWOMAN program screens for heart disease and stroke risk
factors. Between June 30, 2009 and June 29, 2010, the West
Virginia WISEWOMAN program screened 1,378 women at 28 provider
sites throughout West Virginia. The following data is a summary
of the proportion of women who were identified as having
cardiovascular disease risk factors:
