Stop the Hurt: A Handbook for Victims of Family Violence
This handbook was a result of the collaboration with the West Virginia Women’s Commission, West Virginia Coalition Against Domestic Violence, West Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, West Virginia Department of Education, The Legal Aid Society of Charleston, and West Virginia Legal Aid Services.

There have been four editions of this handbook created, the last being 1999. The handbook includes information about family violence, leaving the relationship, getting help from the criminal justice system, getting help from the civil justice system and a list of resources.
 
Out of Control: Women and Eating Disorders
This handbook was created by the West Virginia Women’s Commission. It provides information on anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and compulsive overeating.

There are also sections on how to help someone with these disorders, how to take action and resources that are available online and in West Virginia.

Staying Safe from a Stalker
The latest edition of this pamphlet, reprinted in May 1998, gives quick facts about stalking: what stalking is , who does it, who can be stalked, and what to do about it.
