bullet Preparations for the 2008 Annual Conference are well under way.  A great deal of information is already available and more will be added in the coming weeks.

 
bullet Presentations from several 2007 Annual Conference speakers and a variety of photos are available.

 

bullet National Public Health Week was observed April 7-13, and the theme was "Climate Change: Our Health in the Balance."

WVPHA and representatives from OEHS' Public Health Sanitation and Environmental Engineering Divisions set up displays and disseminated information to the public in the atrium of the Marshall University Medical School at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.

Don't forget about the annual scrapbook contest.  Please submit scrapbooks to Jessica Lucas at the Office of Environmental Health Services by Friday, June 6th.

bullet The next WVPHA Conference Planning Committee and Executive Council meetings will be held May 15th at Snowshoe.

There will be a facility walk-through tour at 9:30 a.m., the Planning Committee will meet at 10:30 a.m., and the Executive Council will meet at 11:30 a.m.
