Educational Scholarship

EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

The WVPHA proudly offers up to two (2), $500.00 educational scholarships to further the cause of professional public health practice in West Virginia. Scholarship assistance is available to anyone demonstrating potential to fulfill the stated purpose of the WVPHA scholarship fund by:

Pursuit of a graduate or undergraduate degree in a health related field at an accredited educational program; and
Maintaining a “B” average or better in a graduate program, or a “C” average or better in an undergraduate program; or
Pursuit of an approved certificate or course directly related to improvement of job skills or any approved continuing education program designed to enhance professional development or career mobility.

To apply for a scholarship, simply complete the application form and submit by mail only with postmark by August 1st. Mail completed applications to:
