Mission Statement: The mission of the Marion County Health Department is to deliver the best quality service from all areas of the Health Department to the citizens of Marion County. Our mission is to inform the community about the services through the Health Department and in association with other health care providers, to assure a healthy and environmentally safe community in which to live. The goal of the Marion County Health Department is to prevent disease through assessment and education, surveillance, enforcement, service delivery and evaluation. The Marion County Health Department is a community-based, public funded organization that strives to meet the needs of Marion and surrounding counties.
