Image: Hardy County Health Department Mission Statement: The mission of the Hardy County Health Department is to organize its resources so that they are primarily dedicated to the local support and enhancement of medical health and environmental health services which are community responsive and prevention oriented. The Hardy County Health Department plans programs, provides assessment, technical assistance and follow-up, delivers and administers services to all people in the county consistent with the statutory requirements of the WV Board of Health. Service shall be available to all citizens of the county without discrimination.


The above mission statement has been provided as-is from the most current program plan report submitted by the aforementioned local health department; it may share but not necessarily represent in totality the views of the Division of Public Health Nursing and Administration.
