Image: Braxton County Health Department Mission Statement: The mission of Braxton County Health Department is to assure participation in a community health care delivery system that is compliant with statutes and regulations developed and enacted by federal, state, and local governments to protect the public health. It is to provide public health functions which assess, promote and protect the health status of our citizens in a safe environment.


The above mission statement has been provided as-is from the most current program plan report submitted by the aforementioned local health department; it may share but not necessarily represent in totality the views of the Division of Public Health Nursing and Administration.
