TOWN HALL MEETINGS!!!
Attend a WVCDHH town hall meeting to share your ideas, concerns, suggestions, and feedback.
WHY attend a town hall meeting?
This is your chance to give the Commission feedback and suggest things you’d like us to do in the future! Also meet WVCDHH Board members and staff, including the new Executive Director. Turn in your survey (sent in our newsletter and also available at the meeting) for a chance to receive a special gift which has been donated to WVCDHH.
WHO should attend?
YOU! Deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened, deaf/blind, CODA, interpreter, parent, teacher, family member, concerned citizen…
If you are interested in what the Commission is doing now and can do in the future to serve the deaf and hard of hearing communities in West Virginia, we want you to attend!
When and where do I attend?
Meetings will be held in 9 cities around the state. On Friday we will hold a meeting at a local senior center around the lunch hour. The following day Saturday we will hold another meeting from 10:00 to 12:00, often in partnership with the local Deaf club.
Click on a city near you for details. More details will be added as they become available so keep checking back! All information subject to change, so please check close to the date of the meeting.
