The Environmental Health Section of the North Carolina Public Health Association  

is pleased to announce the

62nd annual Interstate Environmental Health Seminar

to be held at the Sheraton New Bern Hotel & Marina

in New Bern, North Carolina

on July 23 - 25, 2008.

The tentative Agenda for the 2008 IEHS is now available, as is the Registration Form.  Registrations must be postmarked July 15th to avoid late fee.

 

Hotel reservations must be made by June 16th to receive the IEHS group rate of $119.00 per night.  The Sheraton New Bern Hotel & Marina reservation telephone number is 1-800-326-3745 or 252-638-3585.  This rate is valid from July 22 - 25th.

 

Exhibitors, the 2008 IEHS Exhibitor Contract is available now too.

The Interstate Environmental Health Seminar is an annual educational conference which originated in West Virginia in 1946.

The Interstate Environmental Health Seminar is sponsored by Environmental Health Groups from the member states:

 Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina,
South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia. 

All Environmental Health personnel are welcome to attend the annual Seminar, which is held in a different state each year as it rotates among the member states.  This permits us to draw speakers in the environmental health field from a wide area including several levels of government and from industry.  In addition to the speakers, there is an exhibit hall with displays from environmental health related industries.

We feel that you will find the seminar interesting, helpful, and educational.  It is also an excellent opportunity to network with staff from other states' environmental health programs.
