Quarterly Meetings -
In
addition to our annual events, the West Virginia Women’s Commission holds
four quarterly meetings around the state to discuss the business of the
Commission and vote on important issues. The Secretary of the State’s
office is notified of these meetings beforehand and the public is welcome
and encouraged to attend these meetings to discuss important issues and
concerns.

Planning Meeting -
Coinciding with one of the quarterly meetings, the
planning meeting is a time for the commissioners, ex-officios and staff to evaluate the fiscal year, the strategic plan and to plan for the
year to come. A facilitator assists the group by helping them brain storm
in order to decide how to make the annual events more effective, what new programs
and events to implement and what new publications to develop.
