The Women's
Commission is always looking for volunteer support from West Virginians,
both male and female. You can become a "Friend of West
Virginia Women" by:
Volunteering to head a committee of volunteers and
sponsors in each of the 17 Senate Districts.
Volunteering to assist the commission on work on
various projects.
Sponsoring "Town Meetings" in your area.
Attending quarterly commission meetings.
Offering recommendations to the commission for projects
or actions.
Letting the commission know of your concerns and/or
views on issues.
Joining local women's groups to take an active part in
improving the status of West Virginia women.
Writing letters to your legislators, bringing attention
to important legislation pertaining to women.
Costing you nothing but a little of your time, visit our website,

know if you choose to be a "Friend of West Virginia Women," helping us in
the education, advocacy, research and recognition of West Virginia women.
