Radiological Health Program

  • Emergency response to radiation leaks or accidents
  • Registration and inspection of all facilities with sources of ionizing radiation including radiation machines and radioactive materials used in West Virginia
  • MQSA (mammography) inspections and certification
  • Provide technical assistance on radiological and radon issues
  • Provide public education and outreach on radiological and radon issues
