You may own a home or a car and still be eligible to participate in the Right From The Start Program (RFTS).

To be eligible for Right From The Start you must:

1. Be pregnant

2. Live in West Virginia

3. Have a current, active Medicaid Card or medical coverage through the Office of Maternal, Child and Family Health (OMCFH)

4. Be an infant who is Medicaid eligible

If you are denied Medicaid coverage for your pregnancy you may still be eligible for RFTS services if you:

1. Meet income guidelines (up to 185% FPL)

2. Have no private insurance coverage for pregnancy

3. Are a pregnant non-citizen (prenatal care only)

4. Are a pregnant teen age 19 and under regardless of you/your parent's income.

5. Are pregnant and over age 19.
