Sanitarian Training Class Schedule

 

Sessions are generally scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday's and dismiss around 12:00 p.m. each Friday, but be sure to check the schedule for exact times. 

An additional week of On-the-Job-Training will be conducted with each trainee, by their District Sanitarian, after the completion of the classroom portion of the course.

Week 1:  Public Health history, Bureau for Public Health organization, Ethics & Professionalism, Threat Preparedness, Emergency Communications/Incident Command System, Public Health Emergency Laws, Microbiology, Epidemiology, Outbreak Investigation, and tour of State Lab

Week 2:  On-Site Sewage Program

Week 3:  On-Site Sewage Program, Home Loan Evaluations, Complaint Investigations, and General Sanitation
