The Board of Review
is authorized under state law and functions to provide a fair,
impartial and expeditious hearing process to DHHR customers who feel
themselves aggrieved by agency action. By affording the right
to a hearing, the Board ensures due process of law to individuals
who are impacted by DHHR programs, including all applicants for or
recipients of: WV WORKS; Medical Assistance; General
Assistance; Food Stamps; TRIP; Social Services and
Children's Special Health Care Needs; Child Support Enforcement
services; and also, vendors such as WIC, foster homes,
adoptive homes, Day Care providers, and Personal Care centers. |
