Established in September 2008, the Certification & Training Program has new certification cards for all certified individuals. The new ID card system is a big improvement and includes a photo identification field in the upper right. All water and wastewater operators and backflow installer/testers are encouraged to chose the nearest location and have a photo taken as soon as possible. Although water well drillers and pump installers are not required to have a photo taken for their certification cards, they may chose to do so at their earliest convenience.

Please keep in mind, we plan to use the same photo for 5 years. In other words, you will not have to go have another picture taken when you renew unless you choose to do so. Also if you hold multiple licenses, we will use the same photo for all. We will keep you updated on any changes that may occur to this process.
