SOURCE WATER ASSESSMENT

PROTECTION PROGRAM
(SWAP)

August 1, 1999

The Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) Amendments of 1996 require each state to establish a Source Water Assessment Program (SWAP) and submit the plans to the U.S. EPA by February, 1999. The following are the final revised plans (August 1, 1999) of the West Virginia Source Water Assessment and Protection Program following all revisions. SWAP program development status is currently waitin on EPA approval.
