  7. Dancing With The Stars Cheryl Burke speaks out against domestic violence and gives you the chance to talk to someone about the issue which can still be a subject no one is willing to hear or discuss. Burke has teamed up with the Allstate Foundation to “Tell A Gal Pal” at ClickToEmpowerFacebookpage, and Allstate Foundation will donate $1 to the National Network to End Domestic Violence, up to and including $20,000.

  8. Also, corporate sponsors, like Verizon, have long been advocates to do what they can to end domestic violence and have some ways you can help. You can donate no longer used cell phones to the HopeLine program, donate to a text-to-donate program where one hundred percent of the ten dollars you donate will go to the National Network to End Domestic Violence programs, and Verizon will also donate up to $50,000. You can access this information at www.verizonfoundation.org.

  9. At the website, www.ccawonline.org you can read about suggestions to hold your own awareness activities as well as reading information on how to deal with domestic violence and abuse.
