CPSC Provides Up-to-Date Information on Child Drowning Data and Prevention

The Summer 2004 CPSC Safety Review issue includes the new information on child drowning: CPSC's strategic goals on drowning prevention; data on near-drowning injuries related to swimming pools (1999-2001); swimming pool safety recommendations; proposed federal  mandatory rule for new, safer, baby bath seats; data on suction drain  entrapments and spas and hot tub drowning; and a brief report on CPSC's drowning prevention actions for the last 10 years.
