Your County Regulations

Clean indoor air regulations are not new to West Virginia. The first county regulation was enacted by Monongalia County in 1992. Clean indoor air regulations have become increasingly popular since that time. Many counties have even revisited their original regulations to provide greater protection. As of January 1, 2007, all fifty-five of counties in West Virginia have a local regulation restricting secondhand smoke.

To view your clean indoor air regulation, select your county by clicking on it from the map to the right, or select from the drop-down menu below. To view the regulations, you must have Adobe Reader.

(We've made every effort to verify the accuracy of the regulations on our site, but please contact your local health department for an "official" copy).
