IMPORTANT: This is a repeat of the initial conference call held in the Fall of 2007. If you were on that call, you may listen in but will not be issued an additional three contact hours for participating in this series.
WV Birth to Three is pleased to announce “Tips, Tasks and Tools for Becoming an Organized and Effective Service Coordinator” as the second in a series of topical teleconference training calls. This series will be facilitated by Susan Watson, Director, Skill Builders, a service coordination agency.
The training will provide simple but practical information for Birth to Three Service Coordinators. Through participation on the call Service Coordinators should increase their knowledge of:
- Service Coordinator roles and responsibilities in WV Birth to Three;
- Effective skills for communicating with families and practitioners; and
- Strategies for being an organized and efficient service coordinator.
There is no pre-registration for the conference call. The conference call will last approximately 90 minutes and 3 contact hours will be issued for those individuals who complete the call. Roll call will be taken at the beginning and end of the call in order to verify participation. Participants who call in after roll call has been taken will be able to listen in on the call but will not receive credit for contact hours. Participant materials will be available on the WV Birth to Three web site one week prior to the first conference call in this series.
