WV Birth to Three Lunch and Learn
WV Coalition Against Domestic Violence
(3 Contact Hours)

WV Coalition Against Domestic Violence

Research tells us that children who experience on-going violence in the home may have difficulties with concentration, learning, emotions, and developing healthy relationships. Caregivers who are victims of violence may experience depression, loss of self esteem, and other issues which have an impact on how they are able to meet their children’s needs. As early interventionists, we can recognize the signs of domestic violence and help prevent or intervene to reduce its impact on children and offer resources to their caregivers.

Please join us as Laurie Thompsen, from the WV Coalition Against Domestic Violence provides an overview of domestic violence, its impacts, resources and opportunities for additional training and support in the future.

Please join us for the WV Coalition Against Domestic Violence webinar on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
