| Resource Planning & Development |
| This section of BHHF is managed by Desmond Byrne and is responsible for improving the allocation, configuration, and processing of Bureau human resource related activities in order to best accomplish the Bureau's Mission. These activities include monitoring, reporting and sharing of personal services information for utilization by the Bureau's Management Team. Processing and coordinating personnel actions, dissemination of changes in personnel related policy, assisting in personnel grievance monitoring, oversight, and resolution, as well as development of needed policies, procedures, and regulations are examples of these activities. |
| Project Recovery |
| The Project Recovery Crisis Counseling Program was created in September 2001, following the severe flooding that plagued southern West Virginia in May - July of 2001. Additional flooding in May 2002 - August 2004 devastated many of the same areas and some other areas. Currently, outreach continues in several Regional offices throughout the state. |
| Ombudsman |
| This office was established to assist citizens of West Virginia in addressing concerns and grievances that they have regarding the behavioral health care delivery system and to provide for a process in which resolution of those issues can be accomplished. |
| West Virginia Community Crisis Response Team |
| The WVCCRT is a partnership among mental health, emergency medical services, law enforcement, fire, school, clergy, military, public health, and emergency management professionals. |
