Staff will inform you as a foster parent about all the known information on the child’s health, personality, habits, and education. You will also be informed about why the child is in need of your care and any unusual events in the child’s life which may impact how the child will respond to the placement in your home. It is important that the child’s relationship with his or her birth parents also be discussed.
