Families and Children Tracking System (FACTS)

FACTS is a large customized statewide automated Case Management System for all Child Welfare and Adult Service Programs. FACTS was established for the administration of Title IV-E Child Welfare Programs (child protective services, foster care services, independent living services, family preservation services, and adoption services). Recipient Automated Payment Information Data Systems (RAPIDS)

RAPIDS (Recipient Automated Payment and Information Data System) is West Virginia's mainframe eligibility determination and benefit calculation system.  It includes twenty-one subsystems.  Eligibility for public assistance benefits is determined on-line in the 55 counties in West Virginia by over 898 workers and supervisors.  RAPIDS supports approximately 2,220 active users whose access ranges from inquiry only to update capability.
