QUALIFIED MEDICARE BENEFICIARY (QMB)

This is Medicaid coverage which pays Medicare Part A and Part B premiums and Medicare co-pays and deductibles, including those related to nursing facility services. There is no prescription drug coverage.

SPECIFIED LOW-INCOME MEDICARE BENEFICIARY (SLIMB)

Medicaid coverage is limited to payment of the Medicare, Part B, premium. The SLIMB applicant/recipient may be a recipient of other Medicaid coverage.

QUALIFIED INDIVIDUAL (QI-1)

Medicaid coverage is limited to payment of the Medicare, Part B, premium. The QI-1 applicant/recipient cannot be a recipient of any other Medicaid coverage.
