West Virginia Other Needs Assistance Program (ONA)
Other Needs Assistance Program is administered by the State of WV, Department of Health and Human Resources. Money is awarded for necessary expenses and serious needs caused by the disaster. This includes medical, dental, funeral, personal property, transportation, moving and storage, and other expenses that are authorized by law. To receive money for other needs other than housing that are the result of a disaster, you must have accepted assistance from all other sources for which you are eligible such as insurance proceeds or Small Business Administration (SBA).

West Virginia Individual and Family Grant (IFG)
Following a State emergency declared by the Governor, State and Federal disaster programs are made available to those areas designated eligible. The Individual and Family Grant Program is intended to meet the serious needs and necessary expenses of disaster victims. A Federally declared disaster is a State administered program with 75% funds provided from the federal level and 25% of the funds provided from the State level. A State declared disaster is a State administered program with 100% of the funds provided by the State.
