Charge
- Evaluate curricula and create a “list” of appropriate approved curricula. (Birth through 5 ).
- Ensure appropriate curriculum is implemented in early childhood classrooms.
- Update the curriculum screening tool.
- Work with companies (publishers) to correlate their curriculum to standards.
- Become a part of the Department of Education curriculum evaluation process.
- Develop Curriculum Standards and Objectives based on WV child outcomes.
- Implement the use of the Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scales (ECERS) to evaluate programs (training, process)
