Health Care Authority -- Certificate of Need
The Health Care Authority, created under Chapter 16 of the West Virginia Code, has been given responsibility for constraining the rising cost of health care and assuring reasonable access to quality health care services for West Virginians.
Infectious Medical Waste Program
The WV Infectious Medical Waste Program strives “to provide effective controls for the management of infectious medical waste and to insure the protection of the public health, safety and welfare, as well as the environment in West Virginia.
Insurance Commission
The Consumer Services Division is responsible for resolving conflicts between insurance consumers and insurance companies in the state of West Virginia.
Office of the Attorney General
The WV Office of Attorney General's Consumer Protection and Antitrust Divisions are “responsible for enforcing the West Virginia Consumer Credit and Protection Act, the West Virginia Antitrust Act, and the Preneed Funeral Contracts Act.
Office of Social Services Adult Protective Services
