Health Facility Nurse Surveyor I - Nursing Home Program

Will work in the Nursing Home Program surveying nursing facilities for compliance with state licensure and federal Medicare/Medicaid regulations. Will also investigate complaint allegations against nursing homes. Must be willing to travel to all parts of the state, and spend as many as 3 to 4 nights a week, and an occasional weekend away from home. Prefer someone with 3-5 years of recent work experience in the long term care industry. Also prefer someone with good written communication skills and experience with computers, both utilizing word processing applications and accessing the internet. Must have a current West Virginia registered nurse license.
